Newgrounds.com — Everything, By Everyone.

I have composed a song to illustrate my frustration with newgrounds crap, and my love of music imploding within me.

We, the majority of people here, love newgrounds for its free widespread distribution of our work.

Others love it for the fact that they get to troll and be irritating mindless boneheads without fear of repercussion.

We also hate newgrounds, we hate the fact that many of our decent works are shunned and cast down by zero voters.

We hate the fact that one must amass a legion of these insults to talent and sanity to even get close to a semi permanent spot on the top ten of a song's genre, much less the front page.

So we brood, while we watch as almost every thing we create drops from view.
But we stay, because how else is an aspiring film composer, a fledgling rockstar, or a beginning pop icon, going to get their work to the world?

The answer is: there are plenty of ways, we just don't know them yet.

So as we watch our work fall to the bottom of the shit-beer float that zero voters seem to think most of the work on newgrounds is, we can only hope that one day we can become part of the ice cream that floats above us all.

In the end, we either leave because we give up, or we stay, because its really the only thing we can do.

Rant #1

Why is it that when I actually have something to say no one listens its like all people want to listen to is BITCHING, and they come to Newgrounds to get it, although no one will actually admit it.

When was the last time you heard someone say " I come to newgrounds to hear people bitch, yeah I have to get my daily dosage of whining" I mean really who is going to say that, you know who? NO ONE! They all have their pride pretending to actually be doing something productive, and meanwhile the people who are doing something productive are IGNORED!

And OF COURSE there are the connoisseurs of bitching who sift through old posts looking for the most whiny and annoying and come back with them to show everyone else! "yes this is Whiniea Buellshight 2005, look at the way he uses all caps there, you don't see bitching like that anymore."

But what really PISSES ME OFF? Is the fact that people will actually pass up useful information, that may lead to the discovery of a good flash artist or good musical artist, for some MORON who is whining about how he broke a fingernail.

well any way i just submitted my new classical song </Rivalry\> and its going nowhere...don't really know why since its the best thing I've written....If you want to judge for yourself you can find it here

But spam aside, I really do think its my best work, and I don't know if its just the zero voters or if everyone else is just better but its stuck with a nice ugly 3.88.

welll.....this is my first post and i feel rather awkward about it...

I suppose i should start by saying that i have a commission :D
although i don't have the times that the songs need to be sooo....for now its just getting what the songs should sound like down....and the actual premiere isn't until march of 08
